Ruth Watson Henderson: Giver of All (SSA, piano)

Ruth Watson Henderson’s Giver of All is an expressive setting of Christopher Wordsworth’s hymn text for SSA female choir and piano. The text reflects on the abundance of nature, gratitude, and the blessings given by God, moving from images of sunlight, flowers and harvests to a more personal expression of thankfulness.

The music combines lyrical vocal lines with a lively piano accompaniment and gradually builds through dynamic contrasts toward a powerful, joyful conclusion.
