How will I receive my music after purchase?
Immediately! Once your payment is processed, you will receive your download link and license via email. No waiting, no shipping fees, just instant access to your new repertoire.
In what format are the scores delivered?
All our scores are provided in high-quality, print-ready PDF format. You can view them on any device or print them for your rehearsals or concerts.
I didn't receive my download link. What should I do?
First, please check your spam or "Promotions" folder. If it’s not there, don’t worry, just contact us at aneditio@gmail.com, and we will resend your files manually.
How many licenses do I need to purchase?
Our licensing is based on the "one license per performer" principle. To ensure fair compensation for our composers, please purchase a quantity that matches the total number of singers in your ensemble. Each license grants one person the right to use the score, whether they use it digitally (on a tablet) or as a printed copy.
Is there a minimum order requirement?
For most choral works, there is a minimum order of 15 licenses. This reflects the standard requirements for ensemble performance. However, for specific volumes, instrumental collections, or solo works, individual licenses (1 copy) are available. You can see the specific minimum requirement automatically displayed on each product page.
Can I print the PDF once I download it?
Yes! Your license allows you to print the number of copies you have purchased. Please note that sharing these files or printing more copies than licensed is a violation of international copyright law.
Can I legally perform these works in public?
Yes! Purchasing a score from Ars Nova Editio grants you the right to perform the work. However, please remember to register your performance with your local performing rights organization so our composers receive their royalties.
Do you offer physical, printed scores?
No. To keep music accessible and eco-friendly, we specialize in digital editions. This allows us to deliver music to conductors worldwide instantly. However, our PDFs are optimized for professional-standard printing.
Can I hear the music before I buy it?
Absolutely. We believe in "hearing before deciding." Most of our listings include a YouTube preview performed by professional ensembles, giving you a clear sense of the work’s character.
However, we are constantly expanding our library. If you notice a piece that doesn’t have a video yet, or if your ensemble has a recording of one of our works that you’d like to showcase, we’d love to hear from you! We are passionate about promoting the choirs and musicians who bring our scores to life. Simply send us the link or file, and we would be happy to feature your performance on our website to share it with our global community.
Are the scores suitable for international competitions?
Yes. Our catalog features world-class contemporary works, including pieces by Kossuth Prize-winning composers, which are frequently chosen for major international choral and instrumental competitions.
I have a recording of one of your pieces. Would you feature it?
We’d love to! We are committed to promoting the ensembles that bring our music to life. If you have a high-quality video or audio recording, please send us the link, and we may feature it on our website and social media.
Do you accept new score submissions from composers?
We are always looking for fresh, original voices in contemporary music. Please visit our "Contact" page and send a sample of your work and a short bio.
Can I pay via bank transfer instead of a credit card?
While our automated checkout accepts all major credit cards and digital wallets (like Apple Pay or Google Pay), we understand that some institutions require traditional bank transfers. If you need to pay via invoice/bank transfer, please contact us directly, and we will manually process your order and send the files upon receipt of payment.
I lost my downloaded files. Can I get them back?
Don't worry! Each download link provides you with 5 opportunities to save your files to your devices. This limit is in place for security and copyright protection. We recommend saving your scores to a secure location immediately after purchase.
If you have exhausted all 5 download attempts and still cannot access your files due to a technical issue or a lost device, please reach out to us via our Contact page. Simply provide your order number, and we will be happy to restore your access or resend the links at no extra cost.
I made a mistake in my order. Can I get a refund?
Due to the nature of digital goods, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges once a file has been downloaded. Unlike physical products, digital scores cannot be "returned."
However, your satisfaction is our priority. If you have made a mistake but have not yet clicked the download link, please contact us immediately. We handle these exceptional situations with a human touch and will do our best to help you resolve the issue.
