József Karai: Hodie Christus natus est (TTBB)

József Karai’s Hodie Christus natus est is a lively Christmas motet for TTBB male choir a cappella. Energetic rhythmic patterns, repeated Gloria and Alleluia phrases, and contrasting dynamics give the music a festive, forward-moving character. The Latin text celebrates the birth of Christ, with the choral parts building towards a strong, jubilant conclusion.

A good choice for male choirs looking for spirited Christmas repertoire with a clear rhythmic drive and a full choral sound.
