József Karai’s Alleluia is a lively and expressive a cappella work for mixed choir. Repeated Alleluia phrases create a strong rhythmic drive, while changes in dynamics and vocal textures bring variety and contrast. The music builds towards the joyful Gloria in excelsis Deo, giving the piece a clear sense of direction and a spirited conclusion.
A good choice for choirs looking for engaging sacred repertoire with rhythmic energy and expressive contrasts.
