György Orbán: Dier Duid / Der Tod (SMsATBB, piano)

Orbán utilizes the SMsATBB voicing to create dense, brooding textures that shift between stark, haunting unisons and complex, layered harmonies. The piano accompaniment provides a relentless, structural tension, demanding high-level rhythmic coordination and vocal maturity from the ensemble to navigate the work’s dramatic shifts in color and intensity.
