Battista Pradal: Kyrie (SAA)

A delicate and expressive setting of the Kyrie for female or children’s choir (SAA), inspired by the melodic character of Gregorian chant. Modal melodic lines are combined with both archaic intervals and more contemporary harmonies, creating a spiritual yet modern choral sound. The work calls for controlled expression, soft dynamics and a pure, focused ensemble sound.
