A quiet and deeply expressive setting of Psalm 42, Sicut Cervus Desiderat captures the longing of the soul for God through flowing melodies and rich three-part harmonies. Written for female choir (SSA) a cappella, the piece moves between gentle, contemplative passages and more intense moments of longing, with a particularly expressive middle section before returning to the opening material. A beautiful choice for choirs looking for a refined, lyrical sacred work that creates atmosphere without requiring accompaniment.
