Aurelio Porfiri’s Summe, Gloriose Deus is a setting of the prayer by St. Francis of Assisi for SSAA female choir. The music creates a focused, spiritual atmosphere through carefully blended voices, measured phrases and rich harmonic textures. The text asks God to illuminate the darkness of the heart and grant faith, hope and love. Its expressive character makes it a thoughtful choice for sacred concerts and liturgical programmes.
